THE HISTORIC CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY: A SPACE AND A PLACE FOR SPIRITUAL AND SOCIAL PROGRESS
The Church of the Epiphany is the oldest Episcopal Church still in use in the Diocese of Los Angeles. We are an intriguing mix of Spanish and English speakers who form two congregations each worshiping God in our own language while working as one vital community. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey you are welcome in our community.
We celebrate the Holy Eucharist (Mass) on Sundays at 10 AM in Spanish, and at 12 noon in English. We have lots of kids in our parish and yours are also welcome.
On Saturdays we have a full program of Christian Education and a Youth Club. As proud Episcopalians we love our catholic tradition in worship, and we believe that being the Body of Christ in the world means welcoming folks: Families, singles, divorced, LGBTQ, older, younger, married, happy, unhappy, and everyone in between.
The People of God who are the Church of the Epiphany seek to make manifest the spirit of Christ being born in every heart and soul in our Lincoln Heights neighborhood and in greater East Los Angeles. We are committed to do justice, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with our God.
